Chema Sanchez – Founder & National Scouting Director

Chema Sanchez is a native from Venezuela who offers years of experience to The Prospect Farm. Chema competed at the collegiate level at Alfred State College, and Delaware State University. While in college he was a 1st Team All American, Region V Player of The Year and a Brooks Wallace Watch List National Player of the Year nominee. He brings years of professional baseball experience which he has gained by playing in the US and Japan. For the past four years he has helped players from Venezuela and the US achieve their dream of playing collegiate sports with the scholarship they deserve. Chema is our Scouting Director and is in charge of overseeing every scout and the entire The Prospect Farm operations.

Juan Camacho – Baseball – Scouting Area: Staten Island, NY

The Prospect Farm continues to build a more than solid scouting team; now adding Juan Camacho, Camacho who is 33 brings 12 years of professional baseball experience to our team. A former New York Yankees prospect that now has his own baseball and softball academy in upstate NY and he will be taking care of the Staten Island area and its surroundings. Mike Hebert – Baseball – Scouting Area: Webster, NY

The Prospect Farm introduces Mike Hebert, a 1981 graduate of McQuaid Jesuit High School and a 1987 graduate of The University of Delaware. In High School Mike was a captain of the ’81 Knights baseball team and was part of the first McQuaid team to win a Section V Championship. As a QB and Catcher Mike split time between football and baseball during his freshman year at The University of Delaware. After his freshman year Mike gave his full dedication to baseball. He was the backup catcher for the nationally ranked Blue Hens in ’82 and ’83 while playing some 3b. Mike started at 3b in ’84 and at catcher in ’85 for the nationally ranked Hens. Elena Quilantang – Volleyball – Scouting Area: Hawaii, West Coast

Lena is considered one of the finest volleyball coaches in the country. A native of Hawaii who was a 3-sport club athlete, 5-sport high school athlete, 2-sport junior college athlete and 2-sport NCAA D-I athlete at Long Beach State University. Lena’s coaching experience includes coaching positions at Maui Volleyball Club, Ho’olokahi, Asics Rainbows, City Beach, Club Yahoo, California Juniors, American Flyers and Delta Valley. All of Lena’s teams (with the exception of Maui VBC and Ho’olokahi) have qualified and competed at the open level of Junior Nationals. In addition to club, Lena has coached high school at Maui High School, St. Francis (State Champions/Best High School Team in US), Tokay High in Lodi and Millikan in Long Beach. Lena has also coached camps at Stanford, Santa Barbara, Texas, Florida, Pittsburgh, Chicago, Fresno, Pepperdine, San Diego, Santa Cruz and Hawaii. Joshua McNatt – Baseball – Scouting Area: West Tennessee

Joshua works with the Jackson Diamond Dawgs origination, overseeing17U team,coaching a 9U and Developing pitching organization wide. Bryan Morgado – Baseball -Scouting Area: South Florida

Bryan Morgado, is the former Head coach of Ferguson High School and current pitching coach at Southwest Miami High School joins The Prospect Farm as a Scout. As a Head Coach he had a 27-19 record in two seasons. A 2006 graduate of Florida Christian school he was named pitcher of the year by The Miami Herald in 2005 and 2006. He was also named First team All-State and All-America. He led the patriots to a state title in 2005. He was selected in the 34th round by the Boston Red Sox in 2006, but declared to attend the University of Tennessee. After undergoing Tommy John surgery in 2007 he bounced back making Freshman All -American honors and led the Volunteers in strikeouts each of his 3 seasons in Tennessee . In 2009 he was a 3rd round selection by the Chicago White Sox but returned to school for his red shirt junior season. I’m 2010 he signed in the 4th round by the Philadelphia Phillies were he spent 3 seasons in the minors. Franco Florio – Soccer – Scouting Area: South Florida

Franco, an Italy native who know resides in Miami Beach brings a lot of professional soccer experience to our family. From a very young age, Franco has known nothing except for competing at the highest level. in 1992, at a very young age, Franco was part of the Italian National Team 18U. The next year, in 1993 he began his professional career with teams such Cosenza, Foggia, Monza, Treviso and including a stint in 1995/1996 season with 1st Division Roma. After his professional career, Franco began building his coaching resume which includes positions such Head Coach at Cosenza Calcio in Italy, 18U coach at Washington State Italian Soccer Academy in Seattle, WA. Kelvin Espinosa – Baseball – Scouting Area – New York

Espinosa is a Washinghton Heights native who attended New York City powerhouse George Washington High School. During his four years there, he played in 2 city Title games at Shea Stadium, he was an All-City and All League Catcher junior and senior year. He represented the PSAL at the annual invite only MLB scout day. After graduation, Kelvin became a freshman at NJCAA D1 Garden City Community College (Kansas). The Following year he attended Alfred State College where he was First Team All Conference, went on to win a Gold Glove, and was 3rd in the nation in Runners caught stealing percentage. In 2011, Kelvin was 2nd Team All Conference at #4 nationally ranked Brewton Parker College (NAIA). The 2011 Barons went on to play for its first ever opening round at the NAIA National Championship. Espinosa Has had a great number of success in the recent years. He has helped multiple players in the New York area reach the collegiate/Pro Ranks. He is the President and Founder at East Coast Elite Baseball, a travel program based out of Westchester, NY.
