Four TPF Athletes find new homes and Scholarships

This is one of the best time of the year for us, not only because our players get to perform and we see the fruits of the hard work they put on the field pay off, but also because it is decision time.

We want to congratulate four of our latest athletes for signing with their respective schools:

Marcos Sanchez – Cuban born player we received from our partnership with the Federation of Chile who absolutely destroyed Junior College pitching and because of it will now enjoy a full scholarship at Texas Wesleyan where he will finish his college career.

Oscar Contreras – Venezuelan born player who had incredible upside. The switch-hitting Catcher/3B has proven he is more than just a work in progress. He is actually now also pitching where he is showcasing a fastball that sits in the 88 mph and has reached as high as 91 mph. He will be attending Highland Community College where he will continue to develop to make the big jump to a four year program.

Anthony Reyes – The St. Brendan HS product will be attending power house and elite program Wake Tech. This program offers him the best option to be seen by major programs as it is surrounded by D1 and D2 programs. Anthony is enjoying a solid season in HS and is playing 3B regularly for his team.

Angel Aguado – The Cuban born player who arrived to Miami from Spain and is now playing for Brito HS is enjoying his first full season in the States. He has decided to attend ASA college and stay in Miami for his next two years. The slick fielding SS/2B projects to compete for a starting position for the south florida power school and we are confident that he will achieve what he wants.

We look forward to continue to watch these players grow and to continue to help even more along the way reach their potential and dream of playing college sports.
