Costarican Slugger Andres Marin Earns Scholarship One Days After Joining The Prospect Farm
We are extremely excited to announce the commitment of slugger first baseman Andres Marin, who earned a scholarship and will now be coming to the USA to compete at the same level.
One thing is for our agency to be excited about helping a kid achieve his goals. However, Andres’s dreams became a reality shortly hours after joining our program. We didn’t even have time to announce his addition to our program and he was already starting the college application process.
Andres, a native of Costa Rica is a 6’3″ 225 Lbs first baseman who we expect will have monster years coming ahead. Andres has accumulated incredible numbers in his last couple of years, he has earned Rookie of the Year and MVP honor, led the league in Home Runs, Slugging, Batting Average and has represented his country in several occasions including in 2007 for the COPABE 23U Pre-World Cup.
“Andres is an incredibly mature kid who understand his role and understand the expectations he has, I am confident he will come in and get adjusted very quickly and start helping his team win immediately” Said, Scouting Director Chema Sanchez.
We look forward to seeing Andres make a name for himself in the USA and achieve every goal he sets in front of him.
